Vizhnitzer Rebbe - Rav Moshe Yehoshua Hager

Rav Moshe Yehoshua Hager (1916 - March 14, 2012), known as the Vizhnitzer Rebbe, was the fifth Rebbe of Vishnitz Chasidus. The Rebbe was born in Romania in 1916 to the fourth Rebbe of Vizhnitz, Rav Chaim Meir Hager. He served as the Rabbe of Vizhnitz in Bnei Brak for 40 years. Vizhnitz Chasidus is the second largest Chasidic group in Israel, behind Ger. There are an estimated 5,000 Vizhnitzer families in Eretz Yisrael, with an equal amount residing in America.
