Rav Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg (October 1, 1910 - March 20, 2012) was a Polish-born, American-raised, Israeli Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Ore Yeshiva in Jerusalem. Raised in the Lower East Side, he married a daughter of Rav Yaakov Yosef Herman, after which he and his wife moved to Poland, to learn at the famous Mir Yeshiva.

Even in his last years, past 100 years of age, Rav Scheinberg continued to show amazing dedication to his learning. On plane rides to America, he would try to learn the entire masechta Niddah. He was known not to waste a minute. Rav Scheinberg always had a sefer with him, and even propped up a Mishnah Berura on a shelf in the kitchen when he helped by washing the dishes. Rav Scheinberg is famous for wearing many layers of tzitzis - although nobody knows the true reason for this practice.
